P3B Reflective Friday 23.2.18

Our learning this week in P3B:

  • We learned how to count money, calculate totals and work out correct change.  To do this we acted out different roles, played with fake money and added up bills.
  • We used number squares and number lines to help us improve at counting up and down in 3s, 6s and 9s.
  • We made number caterpillars to help us improve at counting up and down in threes.
  • We observed our plants and wrote about our different experiments on our observation sheets.  We will continue to observe our plants and learn about what plants need to grow.
  • We learned how and when to use exclamation and question marks, going outside to draw these in the sand and working on different stations and interactive games.
  • Making a bar graph to help us plan, we wrote our own cumulative stories in our literacy jotters, making sure to include great introductions and endings.
  • We learnt a new Scottish Dance called the Dashing White Sargent, which meant we danced in groups of three, working well in small teams to keep rhythm with the fast music.
  • Using lots of different equipment in the gym, we learnt to balance on the beam, climb on the ropes and the bars and also jumping off the springboard.
  • We learnt about respect, describing what respect means to us and how we would like to be treated by others.
