Christmas has arrived in P3M! We have been practising Christmas carols in preparation for our concert on the 10th December @ 2.30pm- please come along if you are able. We have been making sparkly decorations from bread to hang from the Christmas branch and have started making other decorations. We loved watching the P1 Nativity.
The children have been thinking about their learning in p3 and have had 1:1 conversations with us about their progress. The learning stories come home today, please share them with your child.
In maths we were working on data handling, using tally marks to decide on Santa’s favourite reindeer. We were using a calendar to answer questions and revising the days of the week and the order in which they come.
In literacy new spelling words were given out- please see Spelling City. Reading books will be collected next week, no new books until the new year. We were writing about our favourite part of Christmas and sharing our memories with each other.
In science the children were using i-pads to research and create food chains.
In PE the class have been working on ball skills.
Have a lovely weekend
