P4B Reflective Friday 22.3.19

Here is what we have learned this week

Maths

This week we looked at fractions of a shape, concentrating on half, quarter and thirds. We practised by playing fraction bingo on whiteboards. We also began to think about the link between fractions of a number and division. It would be great if you could practice the 2, 3 and 4 times tables including dividing at home.

We practised our beat thats using the flashcard games on the I PADS this week and I have attached them for you to practice at home.

noise

poison

Home learning activities –

I have attached a link to spelling city where you can create a free account and input the spelling words and the children can practice using games.

Other areas

We have learned about how to use ICT to create a piece of writing. The children completed a number of steps or as we call them the Success Criteria in order to produce a travel brochure on the city of Paris as part of French lessons. These are looking wonderful and would be useful for anybody going on a holiday to Paris. Well done P4.

SOMETHING TO REMEMBER

On Tuesday next week could the children please come to school in clothing that you wouldn’t mind them possibly getting paint on. Something old, thank you.

Have a great weekend
