Welcome to the P1/2 Learning Ladybirds blog!
This week we have been settling into our new classroom, learning school/classroom routines and making new friends. We have had a fun week of learning through playing and becoming more independent learners!
Every Friday there will be a new blog letting you know what we have been exploring in Literacy, Numeracy and other curricular areas. We will also share any other important information about our learning journey and how you can help us!
The blog will cover:
Other Curricular Areas
Please help your child to become an independent learner by encouraging them to practice changing at home – especially changing shoes, getting dressed and doing buttons and zips! It would very helpful if all items of clothing could be labelled too.
Parent helpers are always welcome – and we already have some parents ready to help – thank you! If you would like to help please email the office staff. Parent helpers can support in a variety of ways including supporting reading groups, small focus groups, outdoor learning and class admin jobs. We would like to politely remind you that parent helpers will support the class generally and it may not always be possible for you to work with your own child.
Thanks for your help and support with your child’s learning! Have a lovely weekend.
*Please be aware that the school website will be closed for maintenance as of Monday 26th Aug and may be closed for up to two weeks.
