Friday 20th December

This week we have enjoyed our Christmas party!

We had a super fun time dancing, playing party games and having some party food! We even had a special visitor!

This week we also continued to develop skills we have been exploring this term. We have had lots of learning fun including: dot to dot, arts and crafts, addition and subtractions games, building, cutting and sticking activities, exploring Christmas stories and making Christmas cards! We also had a small focus on ‘Tricky Words’ and we reviewed all of our single sounds.

Throughout the week we enjoyed singing in out house groups. Each house chose a Christmas song to sing to the rest of the school and the loudest house with the best dance moves won an extra 10 minutes break time. Bells house won – well done!

In Term 2 your child will receive individual sheets highlighting which words you can practise more at home.

Thank you all very much for your kind cards and gifts, it’s very generous and greatly apricated! I wish you and your family a wonderful, merry and relaxing Christmas break. Have fun and stay safe!

Miss Hutcheon’s ‘Christmas Home Learning’……..have fun and laugh lots!
