HELLO P6F !!!

HEALTH WEEK
Have a look at the grid attached below and see if you can tackle some of these activities during Health Week – have fun!
Joe Wicks has a great workout everyday at 9am which is saved on his YouTube page to do whenever you like  . . .

Modern Languages try to complete 3 tasks from this grid over the next week.

Modern Languages 1 Second Level

Literacy

Spelling –

Have a look at the two lists of spelling words and familiarise yourself with the rule (it tells you on the sheet attached below). Your first task is to find 3 new words using the same rule.

Then write out a sentence for each of your words making sure to vary sentence starters and to use a connective in each sentence.

Writing – Persuasive

Remember the persuasive features you identified a few weeks ago . . .  this week you will be using those. Remind yourself what they are by having a look back through your Literacy jotter.

You will be writing a persuasive letter in relation to plastic in the oceans. Writing the actual letter will be Tuesday’s job. Today I would like you to become more knowledgeable about the issue of plastic finding its way in to the oceans by reading the information contained in the links below. Make notes so that you can remember some key points for tomorrow. If you find another good resource to help you add to your notes then please feel free to use that and maybe even share it on Teams.
