L.I We are learning to apply our addition skills.
Daily Morning Challenge: Addition Pyramids
Can you work out what number will be at the top of the first pyramid?
Use your problem solving and addition skills to solve the pyramid and make your own pyramid with 100 at the top!
Extra challenge: create an addition pyramid of your own to challenge your family!
L.I We are learning to spell unfamiliar words using our spelling rule.
A syllable is open when there is no consonant after the vowel.
The vowel ends the syllable and therefore produces a long sound. eg ba/con
Can you clap out syllables whilst listening to the long vowel sound at the end of the first syllable?
Daily Spelling Activity Task: choose a different spelling activity from the pack that you have at home and remember to Look, Cover, Write, Check.

Tricky words – how who
L.I – We are learning to divide by 10.
Daily Maths Task: When we are dividing by a multiple of 10 by 10, we can remove the 0. For example, 240 divided by 10 is 24.
Mild: Complete questions 1 to 3
Spicy: Complete questions 1 to 4
Hot: Complete all questions.
L.I: We are learning to visualise a scene from our reading book.
Weekly Reading Task: Read 20-30 pages of your reading book.
Choose an important scene from your current reading book. Draw a picture of what you imagine the scene to look like. Look for evidence in the text to help you draw the setting and/or specific characters.
Remember to read a book of your choice for pleasure every day for 30 minutes.

L.I. We are learning to research a historical event and create a chronological timeline.
Weekly Topic Task: Your task is to research the main events of the Titanic from the date of the Titanic being built to the date that the Titanic sunk.
Research the dates for each of your main events.
Place the events in chronological order. This means the events are in order of the date at which they happened (earliest date to latest date).
Complete the Timeline in the sheet below with your events and dates. The first one has been completed for you.
