Spelling – 

Choose a list of words from the document below and write them out in your Literacy jotters using LOOK, SAY, WRITE, CHECK. Then choose 3 tasks from the Spelling Menu (also attached below) to complete using your chosen list.

Any words that you did not get correct on last week’s spelling test should also be looked at this week. See if you can find a way of remembering how to spell the words.

Reading –

This reading task will be linked to our topic on Inventions/Inventors. Read all about Alan Turing and answer the questions IN FULL. There should be no one word answers. If anyone was to read any one of your answers they should know exactly what you are talking about and should not be confused in any way.

LI – we are learning to read for information.

Success Criteria –

  • read text more than once
  • highlight/underline/annotate text
  • answer questions in full using some vocabulary from the question to answer.
