Hello P6F !!

Music – Check out these fantastic Music activities. Enjoy . . . Second Level Music Activities During School Closures
This week we have spelling words with our at the end that makes the sound ur. Choose which list you would like to use. Then, since it is such a beautiful day, create a summer image with your words hidden within it. Be as imaginative as you like. Maybe something abstract with all your favourite colours?
Writing – imaginative
Today is a chance for you to use your imagination . . .
I would like you to create a piece of free writing. If you would like a stimulus to get your thoughts flowing then have a look at the document below. As an extra challenge see if you can include personification in your writing. If you do not know what this is then conduct some research.
Remember ALL the usual non-negotiables apply in free writing. You must use consistent/joined handwriting, your sentences should be well punctuated and should all make sense.
It may also be helpful to organise your ideas/thoughts using a story mountain plan . . .Story Mountain
Number – Sumdog Challenge THIS CHALLENGE WILL FINISH ON WEDNESDAY!
I have set a challenge on Sumdog that will be live for 1 week. After the one week is over I will have a look at how you have all done on Sumdog. Good Luck!
Number – this task will last all week
Fractions, Decimals and Percentages
Read/study from pages 34 to 45 and complete the tasks within those pages. Remember we have two Teams meetings this week and so any questions you have I can answer at those points.
Shape – Complementary Angles
Read the information in the web link about complementary angles and complete the worksheet above.
A complementary Angle is an angle that when added to another angle will add up to 90 degrees.
I will save all the resources in Teams so if any file does not open have a look for it on Microsoft Teams.
As always any questions . . . just ask!
