P3 Spelling w.c. 9.11.20

This week, our focus is on words containing the sounds ‘oo’ or ‘ew’. We have been thinking about how we normally find ‘oo’ in the middle of words and ‘ew’ at the end. Knowing this should help us to decide which one to use when we are writing words we are less familiar with.

As usual, we have ‘tricky’ or common words to learn too.

Work on the list you chose in class. You may wish to try some of the activities in the grid below to help you learn your words (as well as any common words you need to practise).
