The last week in P4H …….

When we began this session we knew it was going to be different, we didn’t realise how different ! I would like to thank all the families for their support throughout the year, their patience and understanding about the ever changing situation. But most of all I would like to thank the children as they have been stars. They have had to cope with last minute changes, bubbles, zones , different routines, 2 metres and lots and lots of hand washing. Not to mention another Lockdown , but we managed somehow to get through and to the end of the year! Well done to the wonderful Happy Hedgehogs.

This week we have done a variety of things

We had our Titanic cabin exhibition. They were so impressive and creative. Brilliant ideas in a shoe box. First, Second and Third class cabins which anyone in 1912 would have enjoyed. Fantastic work by all!

As we couldn’t have a Summer Outing , we headed to the Walled Garden . The sun shone on us and we had a great afternoon with our picnic, games and then parachute fun. The only drawback was the uphill walk back in the sun!

We explored floating and sinking and learned all about buoyancy. We know why boats float now, We made our own silver foil boats . We had to modify them .

We have had great fun learning together! When we went back over the Blogs and reflected we realised we have done so much this year despite lived through a pandemic. We have made many memories and also made history.

We are looking forward to our holidays and not going on Teams for 7 weeks!

We will all be P5 when we return.

Have a lovely happy holiday!
