Expressive Arts / RME

We are looking forward to performing our Nativity next week.  If you have a speaking part, please keep on practising with someone at home.  Make sure you know who speaks before you so you are ready to come in with your line.

Please also practise singing Away in a Manger and Little Donkey.

“All About Me”

Thank you to all the parents/carers who have completed the “All About Me” sheet with their child.  Celebrating Wider Achievement is a much looked forward to part of the school day/week and seeing all of the activities/clubs pupils at Buckstone attend is fantastic! The range is amazing! The information gathered from these forms will only be used at school level to now identify any opportunities the school can offer the children.

Additional copies will be sent home over the next week if you have not managed to fill it out yet.

Thank you.

P1 Home Learning

Our main focus in the weeks leading up to Christmas is our Nativity. Well done to all those children who have been working really hard to learn their lines. Keep on practising this at home, remember to use your loudest voice.

There will be no new sounds covered until January, please keep revising the ones already covered. Continue to use the flash cards to sound out and build new words.

If your child has a Stage 1+ word wall please help them to practise the highlighted words.

Your child will have brought home the words for Away in a Manger, please practise this at home.
