Primary One have organised a charity day THIS FRIDAY to support the SSPCA.
Come to school dressed up as an animal on Friday 22nd February. Any donations are kindly received via Parent Pay.
Primary One hope to raise money to help lots of animals.
I wonder how many different animals we will spot in our school?!
Thank you for your support,
The P1 Team 🙂
Well done for another successful week of learning and achievements Primary 6!
We have shared lots of learning together this week as part of our Reflective Friday and thank you again for coming along to our drop-in session on Wednesday morning. 🙂
Thanks for your support over the last four weeks and I look forward to another exciting block after the break. Have a super holiday everyone,
Here is our learning summary from our class Reflective Friday session today.
Thank you for another fantastic week of learning and to all of our Parents and Carers that attended our Meet the Teacher event and the P6 Assembly. Well done to P6 for working so hard and delivering a fantastic showcase of our learning so far! We hope that you enjoyed it. We look forward to sharing our Assembly with First and Second Level children at school next Friday!
Please ensure any more Learning Stories are returned to school next week.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone 🙂
Thank you, Mrs Ling
We hope to see you at our ‘inventors’ assembly on Friday 1st February. 2019. It would be helpful if pupils came to school in black clothing e.g. black leggings, jeans, T-shirt, etc for this performance and subsequent performance as noted below.
Pupils will perform to 1st and 2nd level pupils on Friday 8th February.
Primary 6 have had a very busy few weeks! Mrs Ling is now active on the blog and here you will find our learning summaries from our Reflective Fridays.
We look forward to sharing our P6 Assembly on Friday 1st February and thank you for your on-going support.
Enjoy reading all about our learning and have a great weekend, Mrs Ling and P6N 🙂
Please note Literacy Circles have started again. Children should complete their reading and prepare for their weekly role. Thank you.
Our stunning lanterns will be going on sale at the Christmas Fayre. Pupils can reserve their own creation by bringing in £2 tomorrow morning. These will make a beautiful Christmas gift and the children are justifiably proud of each individual piece.
Please see attached video exlaining how to divide using the traditional method.
We learned how to leave an answer using decimal places rather than a remainder.
I just wanted to say how incredibly proud I am of all of the Primary 6 children who took part in the Wee Sleep Out last night!
The children have taken a leading role in the planning, advertising, research and organisation of this event from the beginning and have shown how determined, resilient and passionate they are to support a very worth while cause!
Well done everyone!
Primary 6 children have been asked to make something crafty to sell at the christmas fair.
We would like to make glass candle holders. (using battery operated tea lights)
Please, if possible, could you bring in a glass jar by the end of next week – Friday 23rd November to enable us to have enough time to decorate these to sell at the fair which is taking place on Friday 30th November.
If you have extras, these would also be gratefully received.
