Good morning!
We hope you all had a busy and healthy week as ours!
As you know this week we have celebrated Health week and we have learned lots of things.
Health week
We have been learning about how to keep ourselves safe: learning when to call 999, what is safe to eat and what is not safe to eat and touch.
We have been learning about different foods.
We have learned about the wellbeing indicators: safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, included, active, respected and responsible. Every day we have discussed a couple of the indicators, their meaning and what they mean to each of us.

We have learned about the names of different parts of our body.
And last but not least we had a fab day a Sports Day!!!
Literacy
This week we have learned two final consonant blends: nk and ng. Our tricky words are over and any.
For our nk sound we had lots of pink items at the craft table, we used links to link, we used ink.
For our ng sound we made rings, we painted with string and we sang!
Our writing was ” I feel healthy when”.
We have continued to develop our reading skills at our reading groups.
