- Re-cap of digraph sounds covered so far in Term 1

- Sounding out/blending/spelling words (CVC, CVCC, CCVC)
- Dictation – digraph revision
- Writing ‘October Holiday’
- Writing Star Steps: use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops, using a connective word and writing 2 or more sentences

- Chilli Challenge subtraction – continued in our new maths jotters!

- This week we have made an ‘Outdoor Learning Journal’
- We collected leaves and decorated our own journal
- We will use this journal each week to document our outdoor learning
- Descriptive writing about leaves
We enjoyed our walk around the school to see all the pumpkins!
