Our Anti-Bullying Guidance for Adults and Children.
Below are two documents containing advice for adults on how to deal with bullying incidents and advice for children on how to respond to bullying incidents. The documents were created by the Equalities Group who worked collaboratively with all classes to gather ideas alongside the advice from the ‘Respect Me’ Scotland’s anti-bullying service resources. These documents are displayed in all classes to support adults and children.

The Care Inspectorate carried out an inspection of our ELC in January this year. We are delighted to let you know that our ELC had the following gradings:
Leadership 4 – Good
Children play and learn 5 – Very Good
Children are supported to achieve 5 – Very Good

2025:
A team from City of Edinburgh carried out Follow Through Inspections in March 2025 and October 2025. We are delighted with the feedback from their visit in March for our ELC and in October for our school which evidences clear progress in Learning, Teaching and Assessment. 2023:
Buckstone Primary and ELC were inspected in September 2023 by HMIE – His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education in Scotland. The Inspection gradings for our ELC and School were:
